Corey Hudson creates art from wood left behind by the destruction of Superstorm Sandy and ongoing efforts to rebuild. All wood was salvaged from the beaches and boardwalks of the New Jersey coastline. All works are numbered in series and reflect the area that the wood was salvaged from.  Each piece is conversational yet inspirational, as this wood has survived to tell the story.  The ongoing effort to rebuild areas devastated by this, the second costliest storm in American history, is far from over.  Many families and small businesses are still suffering the effects of Superstorm Sandy.  Portion of proceeds from these pieces goes directly to local businesses affected by the disasters.  Rebuild, Recycle and Remember.
