Asbury Park, NJ (June 28, 2017) – The organizers of Indian Summer, the Asbury Park Bazaar and the Asbury Park Boardwalk are proud to announce the beach music festival, Indian Summer will return for a fourth installment, September 22-24, 2017. Once again the festival will take place on the beach at The Anchors Bend, which is located on the north side of Asbury’s historic Convention Hall. This year the festival will feature special food and drink offerings from The Anchors Bend, 40+ local and regional vendors inside the Grand Arcade of Convention Hall as part of The Asbury Park Bazaar and live bands performing on the beach all weekend long.

This year, the festival returns to its two-day format with shows on the Beach Stage both Saturday and Sunday, all kicked off by a pre-party Friday night. Saturday will feature The Parlor Mob headlining the Beach Stage with direct support from Rye Coalition. The Parlor Mob has been an international sensation since their debut on Roadrunner Records but have always maintained their strong local roots in the local music scene.

Sunday’s music program will host the return of The Band of Changes, Chris Harford’s revolving cast of world-class musicians. This year the band features Joe Russo on drums, Dana Colley (Morphine) on sax, Dave Dreiwitz on bass, and Robbie Seahag on guitar. Indian Summer will announce the rest of its music lineup in early July, so stay tuned!

Asbury Park, NJ- The Asbury Park Bazaar and Asbury Park Boardwalk are hosting its 3rd annual Asbury Park Night Bazaar series on Friday, June 2nd, 9th, & 16th, from 5-10 pm, in the historic Grand Arcade of Convention Hall and Promenade of Anchor’s Bend, which overlooks the North Beach and beautiful Atlantic Ocean in Asbury Park, NJ! www.asburyparkbazaar.com

Each night, Convention Hall transforms into a pop-up shop with amazing local and regional makers, artists and designers selling handcrafted and vintage goods, live music and special performances, food and libations, games, art, beach bonfire, and much more.

“It's a great way to kick off summer in Asbury Park," said Jenny Vickers Chyb, Founder & Event Organizer, Asbury Park Bazaar. "Look forward to shopping from local and regional vendors selling vintage and handmade products, including jewelry, home decor, clothing, accessories and more. Night Bazaar vendors will be focused on offering small objects so that items purchased can be tucked in a bag or worn right away, no shopping bags to carry around all night long!”

While event-goers shop at the Bazaar, resident DJ Riff Raff will be spinning vinyl tunes in the Grand Arcade and bands and DJs will perform outside on the promenade of The Anchor’s Bend. Each night features a different theme, partnership and lineup of vendors. Both returning favorites and new emerging shops will make up the community of vendors this year (find a full vendor list below or at www.asburyparkbazaar.com).

The Night Bazaar series begins June 2nd with Aloha Friday hosted by Hi-Tide Recordings. Aloha attire is welcome and encouraged, which means don't forget your favorite vintage Hawaiian Shirt, Honolulu sundress or flower lei. Enjoy music from Black Flamingos, Jet Weston and his Atomic Ranch Hands, and DJ Hi-Tide.

June 9th is the Asbury Park Moto Club Social, and we’re welcoming Plus Plus Minus, Roaches, Tango Machina, and DJ Michael Merrell to serenade us with tunes.
