Holiday Bazaar season is nearly here, and we're so excited to spend weekends shopping small, getting festive, and keeping cozy in Convention Hall. Embrace the cooling temperatures with hand knit goods from Bcozie and The Knitting Sisters and candles by Helmsman Candle Company.

Cathy Turner learned to crochet as a child, and holds every piece in her collection Bcozie up to her grandmother's standard, whose words of wisdom included "Don't be a lazy crocheter!"

"Every time I make a new scarf or headband I think about the person who may wear it, what they'll pair it with and where they'll go in it. I like to think that each is a work of art and no two pieces are the same. Nothing makes me happier than seeing someone love my pieces as much as I love making them.

The colors and textures of the yarn inspire me. I'm very drawn to the colors when I'm picking out yarn. I like to play with texture and volume when I'm making a new scarf especially in more neutral colors. A scarf can be a statement piece while keeping you warm."

Debbie, Sharon and Jan are sisters who began knitting as a hobby, then selling goods as The Knitting Sisters. When they met Megan, she joined the group and the business and has grown from there. They find inspiration in one another, current trends in fashion, and lots of wine and knitting nights.

"We love providing our customers with unique buys and one of a kind holiday gifts. This year we are really looking forward to spending time at the market, being immersed in the holidays, and the creativity that vendors and locals will bring! We look forward to keeping you warm!"

Helmsman Candle Company features both hand poured candles in glass jars with silk screened designs and found vintage vessels holding soy wax candles. Founder Bobby Gilanyi grew up two blocks from the beach here in NJ, and is continually inspired by his love of the ocean.

"We have been sourcing and pouring new candles like crazy here at Helmsman Candle Company, adding over 40 new candles to our Found Series. The Bazaar is a great place to get inspired by vendors and clients. I love seeing the smiles my candles bring to people's faces, it makes this whole thing worth it."

Find these vendors and more at our Holiday Bazaars, every Saturday and Sunday from November 26th to December 18th, noon-5 in The Grand Arcade of Convention Hall. Check our schedule here for vendor pop up dates!
