New Brunswick Spring Festival & Bazaar Debuts with 90s-Themed Street Festival Featuring Local Vendors

NEW BRUNSWICK, NJ — Asbury Park Bazaar, in partnership with New Brunswick City Center, will debut the New Brunswick Spring Festival & Bazaar on Saturday, April 18, 2026, from 3:30 PM to 8:30 PM. This free, open-air street festival will transform George Street into a vibrant destination for shopping, music, food, and community connection.

With the theme “The 90s Are Back in Full Bloom,” the event brings a nostalgic, high-energy atmosphere to downtown New Brunswick—marking the first spring edition of the Bazaar in the city following a successful holiday market debut in December.

At the heart of the festival is its curated vendor marketplace, featuring a diverse lineup of local makers, artists, and small businesses. Attendees can shop across categories including handmade goods, original artwork, vintage clothing, accessories, home décor, and more—each offering one-of-a-kind items and small-batch goods.

Featured Vendors

Shoppers can expect standout offerings from a curated mix of creatives, including:

  • August & Mae – Classic children’s goods with timeless appeal.

  • Always Amalfi – Italian-inspired apparel and accessories with coastal elegance.

  • Solo Souls – Black-and-white pen-and-ink illustrations exploring identity and storytelling.

  • Canna Wonder Candles – Handcrafted, non-toxic candles and aromatic goods.

  • Made by Ja - A curated collection of handmade bead & charm bracelets & customizable charm bar.

  • Girly Pop Dirty Soda – Custom dirty sodas, lemonades, and energy drink creations.

  • Spotted Horse Provisions – Artisanal sauces, jams, and pantry goods with global flavor influences.

These featured vendors represent just a sampling of the many small businesses that will be onsite, making the Bazaar a destination for discovering unique finds while supporting independent creators.

“Our goal is to create a platform where small businesses can thrive and connect with new audiences,” said Jenny Vickers, Founder of Asbury Park Bazaar. “This event is especially exciting because it builds on the energy of our holiday market while introducing a fresh, springtime experience centered around our incredible vendors.”

In addition to the marketplace, the festival will feature live DJs spinning 90s hits, interactive games and activities, and a variety of food and beverage options from local eateries. Guests can enjoy a lively, family-friendly environment with immersive, photo-worthy moments throughout the event.

Food & Drink: Guests can enjoy a variety of local food and beverage options, including: Harvest Moon Brewery & Cafe – Celebrating their 30th Anniversary with 1990s beer pricing, games, and giveaways and Jasmine’s Indian Fusion Restaurant – Authentic, flavorful dishes.
